Structured and systematic requirements elicitation is one of the main activities of a requirements engineer. In this training course, you will deepen your knowledge and skills from the IREB® CPRE Foundation Level in order to elicit requirements effectively and efficiently and deal with requirements conflicts. Techniques from the Foundation Level are worked out in detail and supplemented with additional techniques. One focus of the module is the ability to apply the right technique in the right context.

Contents of the training are according to the syllabus:

• Concepts for structured planning and implementation of requirements elicitation and conflict resolution
• Sources of requirements
• Elicitation techniques
• Conflict resolution
• Skills of a requirements engineer

In this training course, you will learn how to create models for the meaningful and appropriate documentation of requirements. In addition, you will learn how models help to communicate requirements more comprehensibly, master the complexity of systems and contribute to quality assurance. Contents of the training are according to the syllabus:

• Context modelling in requirements engineering
• Information structure view in requirements modelling
• Dynamic views in requirements modelling

• Traceability of requirements
• Variant management for requirements
• Reporting in requirements management
• Management of requirements engineering processes
• Requirements management in agile processes

Learning Content

In this training course, you will not only learn the terminology for requirements engineering in agile development projects, but will also be able to use and apply the techniques and methods of requirements engineering in agile development projects. You will also learn how to combine agile approaches and requirements engineering techniques for the benefit of stakeholders. Contents of the training are according to the syllabus:

• What is RE@Agile
• Starting projects successfully
• Dealing with functional requirements
• Dealing with quality requirements and constraints
• Prioritising and estimating requirements
• Scaling RE@Agile

The IREB® CPRE certification examination of the respective level is conducted by a certification body commissioned by the IREB®.

Foundation Level

Completion of a multiple choice test in accordance with the IREB® examination regulations as amended.

Advanced Level

Completion of a multiple choice test (Practitioner) and, after passing the same, preparation of a written term paper (Specialist) in accordance with the IREB® examination regulations as amended.

They have considerable project and counselling experience and apply the techniques and methods taught in the training courses themselves in everyday project work.

We offer our IREB® CPRE training courses and all other services primarily in the entire DACH region, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. However, other countries are also possible on request.
